The beautiful rooms houses concerts and lectures, conferences, meetings, seminars, product presentations, company parties and dinners for prominent guests. THE BACKGROUNDIn 2006 the esteemed conductor Mogens Dahl realized his dream of a privately run concert hall in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark;
It was a concert hall where the focus would be on the best within classical music and at the same time with room for conferences, meetings, seminars, courses and company parties for the business community.
The building is from 1901, originally the stables for the draught horses belonging to the publishing house Hertz.
In 2004 the design firm VIPP acquired the building. Basing their restoration on original blueprints, architect duo Maali & Lalanda created an aesthetic and architectural gem of a concert facility in the middle of Islands Brygge in Copenhagen.
Radio P2, the classical channel, praised the physical dimensions as well as the broad-mindedness of the place when it gave it the P2 Award in 2008.
